A pretty good indication of why people in this area do not have power. This is right across the street from the tree above. I drove by this area tonight and it is pitch black. AEP is hoping to have everyone up by Sunday. I have a great appreciation for my power tonight - and my own bed, when I eventually get in it.

A house on my street. We walk by it all the time. No damage to house, people are fine - tree fell the right way.

These are great pictures to show what is going on all over part of Ohio. It is so strange for us to have this type of damage caused by wind. I am glad people seem to be helping each other out and making it a little more bearable for those without power. I am also grateful that most of the trees in the neighborhood seemed to fall away from the homes, minus a couple that did not pierce the actual house which is always scary.
